Hello! My name is Janet Friesz. I am the lead teacher for the 2 ½ to 3 year old pre-school class. I have worked at Play N’ Learn for one year, teaching in the infant and toddler classrooms. I graduated high school from Thompson Falls High School. I received my Bachelor of science degree from Montana State University, majoring in Health and Human Development with emphasis on Child Development. I have over 28 years of experience in child care/ preschool ranging from lead teacher to center director.   I am a mom/step mom to 4 sons and 1 daughter. My children range in age from 39 to the youngest being 12. One of my greatest joys in life is being a mom and of course the next best joy is being a nana to 12 wonderful grandchildren! They are truly the light of my life. When I am not teaching your little ones, I enjoy being with my children and grandchildren. We enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and in general just spending time together and making memories as a family.   Thank you for sharing your children with me. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you have, and I will make sure to provide the best possible learning environment for your kiddo as their success and happiness are a few of my number one goals for them this year. We will work on many things like self help skills, math, reading, writing and many other things that will prepare them for the older preschool rooms and in turn make them more successful for kindergarten and beyond. I am super excited for this journey as a class and to see where we can go!
